The Second Wedding Night

Dianna lost her balance the exact instant their lips collided. A powerful arm wrapped around her waist. A desperate, invading tongue pushed inside, choking the breath from her throat.

Unlike the kiss shared at the altar, this was a wild, savage encounter of complete madness. The clumsy, wet contact felt blatantly raw and untamed. She tried her best to match his rhythm.

The moment the tip of her tongue brushed against his, a sudden shudder ran through the man, and his grip tightened around her frame with lethal force.

Her breath caught sharply under the pressure. Recognizing her pain even for a fraction of a second, the crushing force in his arms loosened.

Guiscard broke the kiss and stared down at Dianna, his violet eyes scanning her face. Her gaze was unfocused from the intense kiss; her cheeks flushed crimson from shallow breaths, and her lips glistened with moisture.

[Guiscard] "Curse it."

Unable to look her in the eye, he extended his arms and pulled her into a sudden embrace. For a brief moment, he inhaled deeply against her skin.

He slid the strap of her slip down. That action alone exposed her pale, soft chest. A heat as intense as the breath of a fire god brushed against her neck continuously.

Dianna kept her gaze locked on Guiscard as he carefully touched her chest.

[Guiscard] "Ann……"

His desperate voice reached her. She let the gentle murmur fade. Another voice echoed in her ears.

[Saruvia] "He always whispered to me. He said you were as stiff as a corpse, that there was no pleasure in holding you."

Those were the words Levian had spat at her. A woman as stiff as a corpse. Dianna didn't deny it. Merely enduring Guiscard exhausted her completely.

She looked at the man. This man would surely take that corpse-like woman ruthlessly. She squeezed her eyes shut.

A massive hand stroked her hair. The touch was so gentle that Dianna fell into serious contemplation for a split second, wondering if Guiscard decided to treat her like a puppy.

[Guiscard] "If you loathe it that much, we don't have to proceed."

She opened her eyes at his voice. Guiscard glared at Dianna with knit brows. For some reason, his expression looked pained.

[Guiscard] "I know you find me disgusting."

[Dianna] "……."

[Guiscard] "How could a noble lady like you ever sleep with a slave like me?"

He uttered those exact words on their wedding night in her past life.

She recognized that he had taken a step back. Even while tracking her with a heated gaze, he relented.

[Dianna] "And what about you? Do you not find sleeping with me disgusting?"

[Guiscard] "……."

[Dianna] "A reigning king can't sleep with the daughter of a criminal, after all."

She stared intently at his face. Guiscard let out a short, hollow laugh.

[Guiscard] "I want to sleep with you, My Lady."

[Dianna] "I will be as stiff as a corpse."

Ah, but she had crossed the breaking point of her endurance. Though she feigned composure and indifference, maintaining her calm in this exact situation was entirely impossible.

[Dianna] "There are countless women who can satisfy you."

[Guiscard] "Are you commanding me to hold a woman who is not my wife?"

Dianna narrowed her eyes. Guiscard wore an expression that demanded why she would force such shameless behavior upon him.

[Guiscard] "I don't find you disgusting in the slightest, My Lady."

[Dianna] "……."

[Guiscard] "Because I am your husband."

He continued to stroke her hair, as if deliberately immersing himself in the texture.

[Guiscard] "However, if My Lady dislikes it, I shall not do it. I……"

Dianna let out a low sigh as she studied his face. Since he explicitly invoked the word husband, she had no choice but to comply.

In both the Lodbrog and the Panborough, consummation stood as the final protocol of marriage.

[Dianna] "No. Do it."

[Guiscard] "Think again. I shall never take it back."

[Dianna] "Do it with me."

She spoke dryly, sliding down the opposite strap of her garment. The slip fell away completely. His eyes widened instantly as she stood exposed before him.

Yes, let us take comfort in this. I am the one who demanded this encounter.

Failing to spend their first night together would only bring a different kind of misery compared to her past life. Having shared a bed multiple times before, she could treat this as another duty, a necessary process.

[Guiscard] "I told you I wouldn't take it back."

A low growl escaped him. Dianna offered a smile as she studied his face. It was an ice-cold smile, yet Guiscard gasped, completely captivated by her features.

Like a demon touching holy water, he extended a hand toward her chest before pulling away. The hesitation lingered far too long.

Since I already resolved to do this, I prefer to finish it quickly……

Dianna finally stepped forward, gripping his shoulders to lean up and press her lips against his neck. The wet contact accelerated his breathing. In an instant, he pinned her to the bed. He lifted and threw her down so effortlessly that she only realized what happened when her back hit the sheets.

Guiscard loomed over her, looking down at her frame. His burning gaze locked onto her. Ragged breaths escaped his lips.

Dianna recognized the reality clearly: he was aroused by her. He stood consumed by a desperate desire to possess her right now.

As if mocking his hesitant demeanor, she provoked him.

[Dianna] "I agreed to live as your wife for three years."

[Guiscard] "……."

[Dianna] "A husband is permitted to hold his wife. There is no need to back down."

She reached out, resting her hand against his cheek. At that touch, the King held back no longer.

As if returning the kiss to his neck, Guiscard pressed his lips against her throat. A sharp, pulling sensation made Dianna arch her back instinctively against the sudden tickle.

Guiscard slid his hands beneath her waist, locking her in a tight embrace. Against her crushed chest, his powerful heartbeat thudded heavily. His rigid heat pressed firmly against her abdomen.

Perplexity gripped her. In her past life, Guiscard had taken her with raw brutality. He had never offered a protective embrace like this. He gently smoothed her hair, pressing a respectful kiss against the strands.

[Guiscard] "You always smell so wonderful, My Lady."

[Dianna] "……."

[Guiscard] "I want to bury myself in your scent all day long."

He stared at him in sheer disbelief.

[Guiscard] "You carry a disgusting scent."

That was what he had spat in her past life. Yet now, his purple eyes, reflecting the moonlight, curved into a captivating smile. Stroking her hair down, he whispered.

[Guiscard] "You are beautiful, curse it."

She couldn't determine if the words were an insult or praise.

His fingers lightly traced her slender waist. His touch carried no force at all, as if handling a delicate piece of art. Yet that very softness drove a deeper ache through her core.

The movements felt slow and unpracticed, yet he devoted sheer effort to driving her into a frenzy. Shame consumed her for trembling with arousal beneath this man's hands.

Such gentle touch was an absolute change from her past life. Because she anticipated only raw violence, Dianna snapped her eyes open wide and let out shallow gasps. The sound escaped her lips as a soft, urging whimper—entirely different from the mechanical groans of her previous life. Shocked by her own reaction, she quickly clamped a hand over her mouth and closed her eyes.

[Dianna] "Ah, ah…… stop……"

I don't need this; hurry up and finish it. Why are you behaving differently?

Dianna stared at Guiscard with unfocused eyes. The man watched her with a terrifyingly relentless gaze. She attempted to press her thighs together, but a powerful hand gripped her knee and forced them apart.

This is wrong. This is wrong. This is wrong.

Why…… why is my body warming to this man's touch? Why?

Even during that entire marriage, I never experienced this kind of arousal. So why……?

[Guiscard] "Look at me, please."

She directed her tear-filled gaze toward him. He was the very monster who destroyed her life, yet he loomed over her, consumed by raw lust.

Like a boy spending his first night with a beloved girl, his awkward, innocent features framed a careful touch. Guiscard pressed a kiss against her cheek and began to strip away his own shirt.

Bathed in moonlight, his heavily muscled frame glistened with sweat. The sculpture-like body was covered in scars, serving as the only proof that he belonged to mankind.

Dianna stared at her husband's body as if witnessing it for the first time. Guiscard locked eyes with her. The blatant, desperate desire written in his gaze choked the breath from her throat.

This is wrong. Our relationship never possessed this kind of heat.

His burning frame pressed against her bare skin. His flesh radiated heat, yet it no longer felt scorching, meaning her own body had warmed to match him.

As he carefully pushed between her parted thighs, she ground her teeth instinctively. Releasing a low breath, he slowly drove himself inside. She gripped the bedsheets tightly.
