My Lady
Perhaps she had imagined the worst possible encounter. Dianna expected pain, but her body, already longing for a man, accepted her husband entirely.
A dull ache throbbed, yet actual pain failed to arrive. Clutching the bedsheets, Dianna released short, ragged breaths under the overwhelming weight of his presence.
Why does it not hurt? Why is there no pain? Why... does this feel good?
Confusion consumed her. An overwhelming pressure always accompanied his entry. Nevertheless, as Guiscard drove deeper, a sweet moan escaped her lips involuntarily. Suddenly, he pushed all the way inside her in a single, deep thrust.
Dianna twisted her body instinctively, but escape was impossible. A fish pierced by a harpoon couldn't move. She attempted to pull her hips back, but the movement only arched her waist, stimulating her deep within.
As the angle shifted, the friction struck a different spot, forcing a sudden flinch from her frame. Simultaneously, the man's massive body moved slowly. A low, growling sound vibrated from deep within his chest. The deliberate, slow pace drove Dianna to the brink of madness. She swallowed hard, her chin lifting involuntarily.
Though she tried to suppress her cries, they leaked out continuously. The reality remained impossible to accept. This was the very man who had taken her brutally on their first wedding night in the past. He had held another woman. He was the man who told that other woman that Dianna was as stiff as a corpse.
[Guiscard] "Who said you were as stiff as a corpse, My Lady?"
As if piercing through her inner thoughts, Dianna gestured a refusal. Guiscard looked down at her with a dark, intense expression.
[Guiscard] "When you are this soft and trembling so beautifully."
Before she could fashion a reply, he drove deep inside her. His pace accelerated. The subtle friction transformed into blatant, raw pleasure.
Dianna wanted to scream that he was the culprit behind those words, but she lacked the breath to speak. With a face clouded by confusion, shock, and ecstasy, she could do nothing but sob out continuous moans.
[Guiscard] "Ah, Ann…… Ann!"
He abandoned her formal title, calling her Ann instead. Although she had never permitted the use of her nickname, the word Ann escaped his lips. The name felt like a violation of her innermost boundaries.
She looked up at him with unfocused eyes. Slick skin frictioned against slick skin with sudden gentleness. Distracted by the movement of her, Guiscard wrapped his arms tightly around her waist, pressing his entire body against hers.
She could no longer move. The man's movements were relentless, and intense pleasure washed over her. Wiping away her tears, Guiscard finally reached a peak, his movements grinding to a sudden halt.
She panted, looking up at him. A flushed color marked his face as well. Having reached the peak of ecstasy, he looked down at her with a dazed, heavy expression. No words passed between them; only the ragged breathing of the man and the woman filled the chamber.
Guiscard extended his hand, brushing back her damp hair. The gesture possessed profound tenderness. He lowered his hand, tracing his thumb over her lips. Dianna lowered her gaze beneath his soft, trembling touch. He murmured in a whisper.
[Guiscard] "I thought about it constantly."
[Dianna] "……."
[Guiscard] "What kind of expression would you make at a time like this, My Lady?"
[Dianna] "……."
[Guiscard] "What kind of sounds would you release? Whether you would remain as cold as your usual demeanor toward me."
[Dianna] "What on earth……"
As he initiated a slow movement, her unrecovered body flinched, shifting violently under the friction.
[Guiscard] "Would you be this warm, this burning hot?"
[Dianna] "……."
[Guiscard] "Would you release sounds that drive a man to utter madness?"
His hips accelerated. Completely drained of strength, Dianna couldn't resist, accepting his presence fully. Perhaps due to the previous union, his entry felt smoother, and her body warmed rapidly to match him.
[Guiscard] "That is why you should have listened to me."
A sharp cry escaped her lips. Guiscard called out her nickname continuously. Ann, Ann……
Swept up in an overwhelming reality, Dianna gasped for air amidst the pleasure, releasing wild, animalistic cries that felt entirely foreign to her own voice.
On this first night, the bride received the groom's unbridled passion completely within the bridal chamber.
Lying upon sheets drenched in sweat and moisture, Dianna wondered if this reality was merely a dream.
She had anticipated horror. She had expected pain. Yet it proved neither as horrific nor as painful as she imagined.
Through a dazed consciousness, a cold, damp towel wiped her skin clean. Soon after, a heavy weight settled beside her on the bed. A hand stroked her hair once more.
[Guiscard] "You must endure me."
[Dianna] "……."
[Guiscard] "It is only three years……"
[Dianna] "……."
[Guiscard] "During those three years, I shall not hold back. You must accept my every emotion."
I know. That is why I am submitting to this.
She nodded.
[Dianna] "I……"
She managed a low murmur.
It matters nothing to me. As long as those three years pass and you grant me my freedom.
Lost in her own thoughts, she failed to hear his final whisper.
[Guiscard] "Dammit, why did you abandon me then……"
When Dianna opened her eyes, the sun hung high in the sky. She glanced at the space beside her. Guiscard was gone. This reality also departed from her past life. In that timeline, he had watched her weep before storming out in pure disgust.
Why is he not here?
The situation felt strange, leaving an uncomfortable sensation behind.
After sharing such ecstatic passion last night, he simply walks away?
[Mable] "Are you awake, My Lady?"
Dianna nodded. Mable signaled the maids with a glance, and they brought fresh garments and water for washing.
[Mable] "His Majesty departed early to attend to state affairs."
Mable explained the situation.
Dianna rose, accepting the service of the attendants. Despite the clear marks of their night-long union, the expressions of Mable and the maids remained perfectly impassive.
[Mable] "Are you experiencing any physical pain, My Lady?"
[Dianna] "I am fine."
The reality differed from the past. Perhaps she had realized that purity and the physical vessel held absolute value, or perhaps the union itself had changed. A dull ache lingered, but it remained entirely bearable.
The attendants moved busily to prepare the new queen. From the selection of gowns offered, Dianna chose an olive dress. The fabric lacked vibrant color, appearing exceptionally simple, yet the royal emblem embroidered in gold thread declared her status as queen. A belt decorated with pearls and square-cut topaz cinched her waist. Carefully braiding her flowing hair up, the maids applied makeup to her face with dedicated care.
The reflection in the mirror presented a flawless lady of the Lodbrog Kingdom. Dianna stared at the image, a sight both familiar and strange. Standing nearby, the maids cast expectant glances toward her. Dianna faced them and spoke.
[Dianna] "It pleases me. Thank you."
The maids exchanged delighted looks. Perplexed, Dianna was gripped by their reaction. These women had never taken pride in dressing her before. In the past, they led the mockery against her, eventually neglecting her styling entirely.
[Dianna] "Do I have duties to perform today?"
[Mable] "His Majesty has commanded that the Queen rest today."
Dianna nodded. Had she become the Queen of Panborough, she would currently be exhausted from receiving morning greetings from visiting nobles.
A period of rest offered a welcome relief. She attempted to plan her future course. Right then, the reflection of a man standing behind her appeared in the mirror.
The purple-eyed man stood scowling at her.
When did he arrive?
Shock gripped her. Why was the man who supposedly left early for work standing in her chambers?
[Dianna] "I greet Your Majesty."
[Guiscard] "……."
[Dianna] "Did you not depart early to attend to state affairs?"
[Guiscard] "I merely wished to see you first."
His violet gaze locked onto the fully dressed Dianna, scanning her entire appearance. It felt as though he searched for residual marks of their passionate night.
[Guiscard] "Did I not command you to rest today?"
[Dianna] "Dressing properly is a royal obligation even on a day of rest, Your Majesty."
She replied. As hr stared with furrowed brows, Dianna looked down at her own attire.
Is my choice of dress unacceptable?
Did Mable intentionally bring a flawed garment?
Or is this specific color forbidden?
[Dianna] "Does it look strange?"
[Guiscard] "No, not at all."
The response arrived before her question could fully fade.
[Guiscard] "The attire of the Lodbrog Kingdom suits you well, My Lady."
[Dianna] "……."
She stared fixedly at him. The King knit his brows.
[Guiscard] "I didn't intend it as mockery."
His demeanor carried an undercurrent of panic. Regardless of his attitude, Dianna wanted to resolve the issue weighing heaviest on her mind at this exact moment.
[Dianna] "Your Majesty. I am no longer your lady."
Confronted by his questioning look, she pressed forward.
[Dianna] "Are you aware of it? You frequently address me as 'My Lady' and speak with formal politeness."
[Guiscard] "……."
[Dianna] "I can't accept such treatment from the sovereign of the kingdom. A former slave and the daughter of the house that dared to enslave the King—maintaining this dynamic serves neither of us well."
She watched his reaction.
Have I offended him?
Yet her words stood true. Why dredge up titles from his era of slavery? The reminder furrowed his brow.
[Dianna] "I am your wife. Since you resolved to take me as your bride, please treat me accordingly."
She spoke with sheer determination. After a long silence, he answered.
[Guiscard] "I shall keep that in mind."
Strangely, his voice carried no negative emotion, no anger. In fact, he appeared pleased.

I wonder how Guiscard knew what to do this time, when it was obvious that in both lifes he was a virgin.
I’m interested to see how their married life dynamics are going to play out from now on.
Thanks for the chapters, you are awesome!
